Anti Cancer cover

In the holiday spirit of wishing our good friends a healthy and happy upcoming new year, I send you this book. Anti Cancer by David Servan-Schreiber was one of my favorite reads in 2017. While just seeing the word cancer brings up dreadful feelings, this book gave me the opposite sentiment.

Written by a scientist and doctor who was diagnosed with cancer himself, Anti Cancer is a story about a person who battles through his own deeply rooted pre-conceived ideas on the connection (or lack thereof) between lifestyle and wellness to create a healthy new way of life for himself. The book had enough layman's science to convey how cancer cells are in all of us and only thrive when given the fuel to do so.

Personally, Anti Cancer is helping me create a few simple new habits around diet, mindfulness, and stress reduction. Surprisingly, the ideas are simple and not essentially in conflict with a profession that promotes a work hard play hard approach. I hope you find the book interesting and beneficial.

Cheers to a Healthy and Prosperous 2018
